Often times people think- Currently, I get 10,000 visitors daily, 100 end up buying something- that is 1% conversion. So if I could get 20,000 visitors then I would get 100 more new customers daily. Stop there. Wrong. You need to get out of this fallacy before you jump into the next step of generating additional 10,000 visitors, because all visitors (or for that matter customers) are not created equal. It is often thought that in order to get more conversions you need to get more traffic. Wrong. The first principle is getting the right traffic.
